This is a deeply worrying read from Richard Frank, published in the New Yorker. Frank considers the question, ‘How do you bring out the worst in a President?’ He reminds us that Richard Nixon had Chuck Colson, whereas Donald Trump has Stephen Bannon.

The article reminds us that Nixon had a famous dark side and Chuck Colson, who later ended up in jail, was a master of the dark arts.
It’s interesting to compare Bannon to Colson and to remember that the Nixon era finished with the Watergate scandal.
