My wife Marilyn and I saw Theresa May on television last night. We thought she was boring and repetitive and questioned how she would capture people’s attention. But on the other hand, Jeremy Corbyn is a poison chalice and can only offer a weak left-wing coalition.
It’s May’s election to take with ease but she needs to be careful not to stumble and of course needs to keep the media away from hostile headlines. Surely, the UK urgently needs its own Macron, a refreshing break from traditional party politics?
