As pressure against a hard-Brexit increases, Clegg is timely to paint this vivid picture. Simply, this is the Far-Right elite and their populist message, leveraging their own advantage off the hardship of the majority.
It’s a shame that Clegg did not highlight the equally dangerous threat of the Far Left who have infiltrated the Labour Party. This week the Economist highlights that Jeremy Corbyn is lukewarm towards Brexit and more focused on domestic revolution in the UK.
