For me, I’m delighted that the sovereignty of parliament will prevail and that nobody’s given May a blank cheque.
It’s hard to forsee the outcome. We know that the election result will render a hard-Brexit less likely. But ultimately, it will be down to contigencies unfolding. Although not clear now, with extreme contigencies coming into play, Brexit could perhaps be kicked into the very long grass?
