The Independent reports that Jeremy Corbyn will embark on a whirlwind tour taking in half of Labour’s target seats over the next few weeks, as he makes his party election-ready if Theresa May’s administration collapses. It adds that shadow Cabinet members will also fan out across the country in a bid to convince voters in up to 70 seats that Mr Corbyn’s time has come and that the Conservatives have run out of ideas.
With speculation of an Autumn election coming from Washington as well today, it seems like Corbyn’s in the know. Meanwhile, Conservatives are accused of partying with too much warm prosecco.
There are a number of worrying factors here.
- Conservatives are too slow to fire May.
- Conservatives assume that May can be replaced without calling an election
- Disgraceful that Conservative MPs go off on summer holidays whilst Labour campaigns for the next general election
- Jeremy Corbyn’s behaving like he has insider knowledge
Regular readers will know that I have long been worried by the Far Left radicals who hijacked the Labour Party and regard Jeremy Corbyn as their puppet. For the Far Left, the end justifies the means, including suppressing the truth, false news, violence and targeting minorities. Indeed many are speculating on a Marxist Government in the UK, with or without a revolution toppling the institutions of government.
The nightmare scenario begs the question, ‘How far will the Far-Left go to precipitate a change of government in the UK?’
