This is an insightful read from CNN citing new research from France. It reports that as attitudes about marijuana shift around the world, researchers are warning parents that it’s risky to keep it around children, especially those who are too young to know what it is.

Marijuana is very much in the news today. Perhaps, the most scary story from the Children’s Hospital Colorado is entitled ‘Acute Marijuana Intoxication.

This leads me to an open question:

Are today’s political leaders in advanced countries, like the US, UK, France & Germany too lenient on drug abuse?

Business Insider reports that health officials in Navajo County and Coconino County of Arizona confirmed that fleas tested positive for the Yersinia pestis bacteria that causes the plague.

Finally, if you like philosophical fiction, read the famous book, ‘The Plague’ by Albert Commus. ‘The Plague’, published in 1947, that tells the story of a plague sweeping the French Algerian city of Oran. Personally, I’ve had a phobia of rats ever since reading this book in my youth.
