Here’s an excellent article from the Washington Post. It argues that an effective response to either crisis could allow Trump to demonstrate an ability to govern that has remained elusive during the turbulent first months of his administration but concludes for many of the same reasons, skepticism also abounds.

Perhaps Trump needs to make some concessions to show that he understands politics and horse-trading?.
