Yes, the opioid crisis for older Americans is due to overprescription and big pharma companies being economical with truth about side effects and addiction. But the largest cause of death in the US for under fifties is now drug abuse. And this has more to do with enormous quantities of illicit opioids entering the US.

Yes,  it’s important to celebrate success but let’s not lose sight that the epidemic is escalating.
