This story published in the LA Times deserves to go viral. It raises many questions about airline bureaucracy, animal cruelty and the priorities of the US Government. Why is this a story that could only happen in the US? Thoughts?

United Airlines had twice as many animal deaths on any of its flights as other US airines.
In this case it was down to lack of commonsense by cabin crew who should have known that insufficient air would be available for the dod in quesťion
Dr Alf wonders if this could have happened anywhere else.
Probably the answer is yes.
