Opinion – In Syria, Trump Faces the Limits of Bluster – Editorial – NYT

Here’s an outstanding, must-read editorial from the NYT, highlighting how Trump has contributed to the humanitarian crisis in Syria. Trump’s simplistic knee-jerk tweets highlight that he’s a weak president with a big ego. US foreign policy is confused. On Trump’s watch, Iran, Syria, Turkey and Russia’s are testing Trump’s resolve. History has shown us, time and time again, that US bombing is not enough. Surely, it’s time for the US Congress to demand a strategic approach to foreign policy that is in harness with America’s major allies? Thoughts?
