This article is an example of the NYT at its best. It reports that as prime minister (twice); as minister of defense, foreign affairs, finance and transportation; and, as president, Mr. Peres never left the public stage.

May he now rest in peace.

The Telegraph reports that Jeremy Corbyn has appeared to compare Israel to “various self-styled Islamic states and organisations” at the launch of Labour’s antisemitism report.

In Corbyn’s far-left politics, the end justifies the means (this is the same for Farage‘s far-right politics). By rational, objective measures, Corbyn is unglued. If you read the Telegraph article carefully, you will see that the Labour Party is being hijacked again with so-called new members, many with radical, far-left views.

Corbyn’s radical left-wing agenda is pro-Palestinian and anti-Israel, anti-zionist and blatantly anti semitic.

If Corbyn can’t be stopped then the Blairites must form a new political party upholding traditional Labour values – these include social justice,  strong community and strong values, reward for hard work, decency and rights matched by responsibilities
