It’s very early days in negotiations for David Cameron. However, he must seek Germany’s backing to stand any chance of success. Meanwhile, his meetings in Paris and Warsaw have identified more obstacles.
Newspapers will speculate and try to play to their national readerships but David Cameron must keep his powder dry and avoid negotiating in public, certainly in the early stages.
