Apart from the environmentalists, too many, austerity ravaged, Middle Englanders seem to be too complacent about fracking, unless, of cours,e it’s immediately in front of their own house.

Isn’t it about time that the “Middle Englanders” challenged the political classes?

Although no expert, I tend to think that the article over-simplifies a bit. For example, surely Texas is famous for much more than Nachos and New York has more than Pizza?
