Much as I dislike the sensationalism of the reporting from the UK’s Daily Mail, it captures the fears of a retaliatory escalation following Trump’ bombing in Syria. It cites Russian PM Dmitry Medvedev denouncing Donald Trump for attacking ‘the legitimate government of Syria’ and for allegedly breaking international law without the approval of the UN.

The rhetoric is getting ugly as the US explores the evidence of Russian complicity in chemical attacks. But we now have a dangerous situation in which two of the world’s leaders are narcissists supported by populism and fake news.

It asserts that corporations and banks bribe the Clintons to buy political favors. The speaking racket that has earned them at least $30 million over the past 16 months is a (flimsy) cover.

Personally, I think that the headline is overstated but there’s some red meat in the substance of the article.
