In my view, it’s time for a radical shake up of the UK supermarket sector. Market leaders, like Tesco have grown too fat – they have not listened effectively to their customers – now financial markets are showing their surgical skills.

Retailers need to open up and bring in top-class professionals from other sector. It’s time for change.  Listen to the customers, who are voting with their feet. Of course, the first place to start is to replace the finance teams who have allowed the accounting scandals.
