Jimmy Chen, the author of this op-ed article, concludes:

Since the U.S. judicial system does not embrace the least knowledge of respecting the basic principles of other countries’ sovereignty, let it be held in contempt by Bank of China.

This article raises some interesting points. Foreign observers perhaps see the US legal system  as extremely litigious, with ambulance-chasing lawyers on contingency fees, with extremely powerful courts. One wonders about the boundaries of the justice,  politics and business in the US?
