Ed Balls and the Turkey Saga!

The UK mainstream media is having fun reporting David Cameron calling Ed Balls a turkey and then reporting that Ed Balls is hitting back.

In my view, the point is that Ed Balls is a heavy-hitter and George Osborne is an intellectual lightweight, as far as economic matters are concerned. I am one of the few people that I know that has consistently supported Ed Balls viewpoint.

The Government fear Balls because he is a heavy hitter and they know that there has been a lot of smoke and mirrors policy-making. From the Government’s position, it’s better to throw mud and discredit Balls. BUT in my view, Balls is still dangerous.

Any thoughts on Balls future?

This is an excellent MUST-READ blog from John Rentoul, published by the Independent. It’s a transcript of Ed Balls interview, this morning, on the Andrew Marr show. Check it out!

Personally, although I have always been a lifelong conservative, I identify with Ed Balls here.

Any thoughts?
