This is an excellent and HIGHLY RECOMMENDED read from Ed Balls, the UK’s Shadow Chancellor. Check it out!

Labour will turn things around and deal with the deficit in a fairer & more balanced way – my Tribune column « Ed Balls – Labour MP Blog.

Whilst my politics are different to those of Ed Balls, I very much agree with him on stimulating economic growth in the UK with large-scale infrastructure spending as proposed by the IMF recently. Balls spells out clearly the potential impact of following the IMF’s recommendations:

For instance, if the entire infrastructure boost recommended by the International Monetary Fund was spent now on housing it would allow the building of around 400,000 affordable homes across the country, and support over 600,000 new jobs in construction, including 10,000 apprenticeships.

Any thoughts?

Osborne, Clarke and Balls to attend Bilderberg Group meeting – Telegraph.

Personally, I do not really agree with the conspiracy theorists who argue that the Bilderburgers are a secret organization that runs the World with more power than major democracies.

Any thoughts?
