Opinion – Miliband’s attack on profit is an attack on patients « Adam Smith Institute – John Gelmini

Ed Miliband is an economic illiterate because to just get approval for a new drug can take a minimum of £1.5 million gbp in testing, clinical trials and monitoring of side effects.

Profit from ongoing activities is what funds that development and that profit cannot be capped at 5% as Miliband suggests although some members of the public may be stupid enough to believe him.

Dr Alf is not the only one concerned about the NHS which despite being the largest employer in Europe is responsible for  120,000 deaths a year through botched operations, with GPs accountable foe 70,000 deaths a year through misdiagnosis and it employs 225% more managers than it needs to whilst delivering the worst cancer treatment outcomes in Western Europe barring Greece.

The NHS and its alter ego, local authority funded Adult Social Care, is an anachronism that belongs in a history book along with incompetent people like Ed Miliband who is not competent to run a whelk stall let alone a country.

I can understand why the Bilderbergers wanted someone malleable and out of touch as their placeman but dumbing down the Prime Ministership can, in a dangerous and expensive world ,only be carried so far.

Opinion – Asian to lead Britain one day: David Cameron – The Times of India – John Gelmini

The indigenous population of Britain will on present trends become a minority within a lot less than 50 years and without checks and balances applied now it will be 30 years.

Dr Alf is right but I question why David Cameron has said what he has given that in his Cabinet there are hardly any of the minorities he professes to champion.

Diwali just happens to be a recent event, so David Cameron is interested in schmoozing the Indian Government with a view to selling them more BAE Defense Systems produced weaponry and he would like more Indian business-people to come here and create businesses, so that more of the indigenous population can be put to work.

David Cameron is responsible for the weakening of the 2010 Equality Act and has presided over a situation where just 7% of Times 1000 Chief Executives are woman (in 1989 the figure was just 3%), so it will take 164 years at the current rate of progress to get to par.

Similarly, he has done nothing about Bisphenol A the chemical in plastics that causes infertility and the lowest sperm counts in Western Europe nor any of the other chemicals that the Alimentarius Commission puts into our foods.

In my judgement, David Cameron should be replaced, and he probably does not care who runs the country after he has moved on to his next role.
