Dr Alf raises an important point.

As America focusses on the Pacific, China, in particular, is playing a much longer game and will focus on Europe.

Eventually, China may choose to bail out parts of Europe, where there are distressed assets such as banks, ports and airports.

By so doing,  China will create new opportunities for their people to “swarm out to” and gain control of sections of Europe’s economy plus easier and shorter access to London, Frankfurt and of course Africa which they practically own already.

They will also be closer to Turkey, which is allegedly secretly harboring and training 400,000 Uighur terrorists, who will probably become part of ISIS and who are. destined to try and set up another part of Baghdadi’s Global Caliphate in Northern China.

By filling the vacuum left by Obama’s indifference and short sitedness, China hopes to be so ingratiated with Europe and vice versa that they rather than the Americans will be top of mind in the eyes of Europe’s leaders.

They imagine that this will take a very long time but the Chinese are patient and see that apart from Mrs Merkel they are dealing with a bunch of intellectual lightweights without a plan.

As their influence grows and today’s generation of Western educated Chinese students become the next generation’s leadership Europe will need to wake up,

along with our ossified UK leadership who still imagine that they hold all the cards.
