Personally, I believe that the government is invading individual privacy. Firms like Boots and Tesco are extremely commercial and run by ambitious people.
I don’t live in the UK anymore but would be uncomfortable with firms like Boots and Tesco having access to my data. When I lived in the UK, I preferred to use an independent pharmacy.
Let me ask an open question:
Do you agree that the Conservative government should have consult the public, built in safeguards and provided opt-outs before giving medical records to the likes of Boots or Tesco?
