David Cameron’s government has botched austerity, and this blog has long been citing the evidence of an omni-shambles. There have been mindless cuts, top-slicing, or bacon-slicing government budgets. Given a series a sacred political cows, like foreign aid and healthcare, the ax has fallen unfairly on other departments, including defense. This blog has repeatedly highlights the absence of strategy, and constant focus on short-term political gain.

The Mail cites one of the greatest scandals in decades, where the political classes stand accused. Yet the government cannot handle the overwhelming evidence that is emerging. What a disgrace!

Surely, it’s time to come clean on austerity and for the public to press for legal action on  historical child sex abuse allegations?
