Neil DeGrasse Tyson: Downplaying Our Involvement in Climate Change is “Simply Irresponsible” – Futurism

Futurism reports that Neil deGrasse Tyson has criticized politicians and the media for “cherry-pickingscientific studies on climate change that downplay human involvement. It suggests that in the wake of recent hurricanes, the astrophysicist described this behavior as “irresponsible.”

The article seemed light on evidence to justify their claim. So I ran a quick search on Google Scholar for ‘climate change‘ and found thousands of articles.  As an after-thought, I ran a search on Google Scholar  for ‘Neil deGrasse Tyson’ and ‘climate change’. 

Personally, I struggled to fins any publications by Mr. Tyson on climate change.

Surely it’s not about cherry-picking the evidence, rather summarizing and analyzing it? Perhaps, next time Futurism could look for evidence?

Once again, this article highlights that Europe does not have an effective energy strategy. Meanwhile, policy has been hijacked by green activists. But the UK has drawn the shortest straw, with thirty-five years of sky-high electricity prices ahead.
