This is a surprisingly supportive article from the UK’s left-leaning Guardian. It reports that seemingly overnight and without much effort, the majority of GOP congressmen endorse or have come to accept the presumptive nominee as the face of the party.

As for Trump, most pundits thought that it would never get this far and he would be forced to go it alone.

Let me ask some open question:

Are we really looking at the reality of a Trump presidency?

If so, will Trump back down and be just like any other conservative US president?

If you have been reading this blog, the thread of the FT article will be no surprise. Obama just does not have an effective strategy for dealing with the Middle East and ISIS. Also he is a weak and an ineffective leader, which is leading to global uncertainty. In my view, he’s probably the weakest US President in history.
