Dr Alf brings us an excellent and timely post.

The UK coal industry and the coal industry in the West will disappear because of the so-called “Climate Change” agreement from Paris which others will pay lip service to but not ratify.

Manual work will become the province of robots so Trades Unions will go the way of the dinosaurs and disappear into folk memory just as lamplighters, highwaymen, Parochial Beadles, workhouses, hangmen, debtors prisons and credit drapers have done since Charles Dickens first started writing his searing portrayals of life in his day.
