The left-wing Guardian nespaper reports that UK shadow defence secretary and frontbench colleagues attack Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn for saying he would never use nuclear weapons if prime minister.

Personally, I’m convinced that Corbynism will increasingly be shown to be flaky over the coming months. Unfortunately, hard-left supporters who put Corbyn in power are not interested in rational argument about policy – for them it’s about rhetoric and shouting down effective debate.

It will be interesting to see if the moderates in the Labour Party can regroup effectively?

Personally, I do not think that the risks that the ASI paints are alarmist, they’re considered and realistic.

It’s time to wake-up, this isn’t just about the future of the Labour Party, it’s about the future of the UK too.
