………..The Guardian publishes an extreme article from Eve Ensler, an American playwright, performer, feminist, and activist, best known for her play The Vagina Monologues.

Ensler takes a hard-look at Donald Trump and blames him for everything that’s wrong in contemporary US society. She argues that this presidential election is America’s reckoning. She concludes questioning ‘What mighty love will we summon to ensure the ending of this violence, this hate?’

For me, this style of writing is based on passion and extreme political and personal views, with virtually no evidence linking cause, effect and conclusion. In a free society, Ensler can publish this material and use it to promote her personal interests.

My bigger concern is with this article is with the Guardian for publishing this material to its increasingly global audience. I  accept that it’s published as an opinion, an ‘op-ed’ . But for me the Guardian’s publication is tacit agreement with some of the content which as I’ve argued above ignores evidence. For me, this is part of the smear campaign that is coming from the left-wing, including left-wing newspapers like the Guardian.

For the Guardian to be unbiased it must publish a defense of Trump or a similar Ensler type article on the Clintons.
