Personally, I’m not sure about editorial freedom as I highlight in my reblog of the Guardian’s view of this story.

If you’ve ever lived through a takeover, when two powerful groups face each other, it’s always the new owner’s power which prevails.

We’ve seen an editorial shakeup at the Telegraph and I wonder how long the FT will retain the editorial freedom of the Pearson years?
