Personally, I believe that it a masterstroke from the outgoing President of the European Commission, José Manuel Baroso to cite the late Margaret Thatcher. I agree with Mr. Barroso. David Cameron is not in control. The UK Conservative Party has moved into the political arena of Tony Blair, viz. the center, and abandoned the right. This leaves the UK exposed to the hard-right, like in France. Whilst UKIP has a very popular message, I am still concerned about its politics on race. Additionally, I question whether UKIP’s numbers stack up, just like the Scottish Nationalists.

In case, you are new to this blog I am a great fan of Margaret Thatcher. Also I’m pro-Europe but passionately anti-bureaucracy.
