Whilst the link between Turkey and ISIS is not new, providing hard evidence to the UN Security Council raises the ante and brings Turkey’s foreign policy under international scrutiny.

Sadly, at Angela Merkel‘s instigation, the EU has recently agreed to give Turkey billions of Euro.

Personally, I struggle with Obama‘s ineffective policy, knowing that Turkey has been double-dealing – this has increased the risk of terrorism in the West and added to the refugee crisis.

We now hear that Obama will come clean to the American people in a TV address from the Oval Office Sunday night.

I wonder if Obama will propose a trade embargo on Turkey, just like Russia? Of course, protecting the massive US trade interests with Turkey is another reason that Obama has been soft on Erdogan.

Putin‘s drip feeding of Turkey’s links with ISIS is embarrassing more than President Erdogan and his family. Apart from Obama, what about Merkel and Cameron?
