It looks like it will be too late for the next round of democratically elected politicians to save Greece. Sadly, it will be the Greek people that have triggered the end-game not the bankers.

Greece and Germany are playing a dangerous game of chicken: this cannot last – Telegraph Blogs.

For me, the article is spot-on – the troika has already pushed Greece too far with austerity. What about stimulating demand and investment in Greece? 

Greece is a proud country with an enormous history – the pain and humiliation will not be forgotten quickly. 

I am greatly encouraged that a right of centre paper, like the Telegraph, is challenging the futility of pan European austerity so strongly.
