Once again, the story seems to imply institutional bias at the BBC.

I have long been concerned that despite the BBC’s enormous subsidy from the Treasury, there seems to be an absence of balanced reporting – too often one side of the view is presented.

Let me turn this to an open question:

If there is institutional bias at the BBC, surely it is time to withdraw central government funding or subsidy?
