This is an outstanding must-read article from The Atlantic. It argues that Republicans and Democrats of 2016 have neither intelligible boundaries nor enforceable norms. The alarming conclusion is that as a result, renegade political behavior pays.

Let me give you a flavor:

Trump, however, didn’t cause the chaos. The chaos caused Trump. What we are seeing is not a temporary spasm of chaos but a chaos syndrome.

Personally, I blame President Obama for promising so much and delivering so little.

Across the Western world, we are witnessing the rise in power of the political extremes, the far-left and the far-right. This is the world of post-truth politics, in which evidenced is suppressed and dogma rules – for both extremes, the end justifies the means. Democracy has been hijacked by populism.

Let me ask an open question:

So how will the political center win against populism?

Thoughts?

The answer to Dr. Alf’s question is the Codex Alimentarius and the Alimentarius Commission, which was originally set up in the days of the Austro-Hungarian empire to control food quality and content.

It was hijacked by Monsanto and the food manufacturing and chemical/seed companies, meets in secret (currently under Norwegian chairmanship but this rotates between countries). The Alimentarius Commission determines EU and FDA directives and essentially what we can and cannot eat and drink and what chemicals and packaging can go into our food.

Chemicals in the environment and our water supply, car bumpers and plastics are there to make vehicles lighter and more fuel efficient in order to cut down pollution and greenhouse gas emissions to help solve “Climate Change”/”Global Warming” which represent bogus problems dreamt up by the Club of Rome and its offspring the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change and the Hadley Centre for Climate Change.

The Met Office, which uses the data from the Hadley Centre and the University of East Anglia, was fired by Tesco PLC for producing grossly inaccurate weather forecasts 3 years ago, and even the BBC has terminated the Met Office contract with effect from early next year, although George Monbiot seems to be giving more platform to talk about Climate Change,”rewilding”, reducing sheep farming and the reintroduction of wolves and lynx
Bisphenol A, a gender bending and carcinogenic chemical is in the UK/US environment as a means to control longevity to manageable lengths and to , in the case of the UK reduce sperm counts and the size of the indigenous population through the creation of more gay men and the production of fewer children through infertility.

Pension systems throughout the developed world are under strain and the NI system in the UK has been insolvent since 2000.

Governments cannot yet apply “Logans Run ” thinking in policy statements but by rationing healthcare and permitting these chemicals to be in the environment they seek to manage populations and control the costs of the economically inactive and non-contributing members of society.
