This excellent article in the left-leaning Independent highlights why Jeremy Corbyn is not to be trusted. It reports that three days before his re-election as Labour leader, Jeremy Corbyn promised to “wipe the slate clean” and “reach out to and work with all Labour MPs to form a broad and effective opposition.” It argues that his words were welcomed by his Labour critics.
For me, Jeremy Corbyn’s –hard-left politics is not about truth and evidence, it’s about the end justifying the means.
Surely Corbyn has given Theresa May‘s Conservative Party the middle ground of UK politics?
