Tough steps against corruption soon, Modi says – The Times of India.

Perhaps, President Obama should give Mr. Modi, a tip like:

Speeches are fine to win elections but eventually you have to walk the talk!

I fear that the world and possibly Indian voters will tire quickly with Mr. Modi, if he does not deliver on promises. In particular, if Mr. Modi wants to create new jobs in India with foreign inward investment, he must deliver on reform.

As an expert in delivering strategic change, I can appreciate the size of Mr. Modi’s challenge. Perhaps, Mr. Modi should look to Gandhi‘s epic struggle for a few tips?

I would like to see the Times of India run a series entitled:

“How to remove corruption in India?

Any thoughts?

Despite being the largest democracy in the world, there is evidence that the rights of women are sometimes subordinated in India. Also although the caste system was outlawed in the Indian Constitution in 1947, it is still very prevalent in India in 2014.

It is easy for the Times of India to mock racial relations in the US , but why is the TOI not promoting women’s human rights in India more aggressively?

Thoughts?
