According to the article, excessive sugar in the typical UK diet is now the top health hazard. Meanwhile, the food and drinks industry don’t want to impact their profits by reducing the sugar content.

A few days ago we saw that the mighty US Navy are banning fried food, whilst a leading news story in China is about a man who grew large breasts from too much fried food.

With massive global  healthcare problems caused by obesity, why are governments not challenging the food and drinks industry more effectively?
