Newsweek reports that the tech giant, Google, is trying to encourage internet users to self-monitor their mental health.

This reminds me of the old saying that ‘a little knowledge is a dangerous thing’.

I tried the online test and it had me down as mildly depressed. The thing is context is important. Many of my answers were probably because of the Summer heat. I live in Cyprus in the Mediterranean, where summer day time temperatures are 30-40 degrees Celsius and I try not to use aircon.

Personally, I think that there is room for a public debate. There’s something wrong with having to travel to Switzerland to die. Surely Switzerland’s policy should become the norm?
