Dr Alf thinks that “democracy is diluted in its effectiveness” whereas I think it is mostly an illusion.

Prime Ministers, Presidents and top people are chosen in advance, so that when 3 to 4 candidates appear before an electorate those that choose the candidates do not care which of the 3 or 4 finally gets chosen.

Out of 44 American Presidents, 34 of them were related to just 2 people; Alfred the Great and Charlemagne and all of them starting with George Washington, the 1st President, were, or are, 33rd degree Freemasons of the Scottish Rite or the equivalent level.

The mathematical odds of that being an accident are pretty small.

In the UK, we are told that we are a constitutional monarchy, yet it is Prime Ministers who have to go to see the Queen each week for an “audience” with her and not the other way around. We are told that this is ceremonial and that the Queen has no real power, yet somehow she manages to be worth 17.4 trillion gbp, whilst Prime Ministers are paid £143,000 gbp a year and can only remain in office for 5 years.

Above the 33rd degree of the Scottish rite, there are 13 more illuminized degrees and these are occupied by about 2,500 people headed up by one man.

If one looks separately at the ownership of most very large businesses, we know from a recent Swiss study that 40% of the world’s businesses are represented by 142 companies.

Drilling down further we find that there are 21 families within the 13 illuminized degrees and 13 families with enormous wealth who can trace their ancestry back to the Emperor Justinian.

Then we have the Knights of Malta, who have diplomatic immunity and people in powerful positions in business and the US military.

Whether we are at peace or war, in economic turmoil, facing a banking crisis or having laws made, it is these people who decide not ordinary people.

When it comes to privacy, we are tracked daily in the UK by 300 cameras, our mobile telephones pinpoint our movements every 8 seconds even when the phone is in roaming mode; all our credit card history, debit card history is logged; our cars are tracked by ANPR; and every word we type is scanned by computer, unless we use a proxy server and if trigger words appear then our words are read and evaluated by a spy who decides what is to be done with us.

This is no less intrusive than one might expect in a totalitarian dictatorship.

So the reality is we are little more than serfs in a feudal system characterized by barons and latter day dukes and kings who have now metamorphosed into what is in reality a secret government. This entity is composed of politicians, plutocrats, heads of think tanks, foundation owners, media owners and aristocrats.

They attend Bilderberg meetings, Club of Rome meetings, Bohemian Grove, Davos, the Ditchley Foundation and other gatherings at public expense whilst deciding what will happen to the rest of us.

I do not believe, as they assert, that they are having “private meetings” because the 2013 Bilderberg meeting held at the Grove Hotel, Watford, Hertfordshire, at which David Cameron made an appearance in his “official capacity” as Prime Minister, we in Hertfordshire were given the entire policing bill of £963,000 gbp despite representations from the Chief Constable of Hertfordshire and others.

The deliberations of the 120 or so participants were minuted but despite the attendance of the BBC not reported.

If Dr Alf sees this as democracy then I have to reluctantly disagree because on most things we seem to be in approximate agreement.

Dr Alf makes interesting points and his belief in democracy is commendable.

However, the world is not run by people who are as idealistic or as passionate about people as he clearly is.

Pravda RU selectively quotes from history because Czarist Russia and its successor has hardly been a model of studied indifference in the world, having created revolutions all over Africa and Central America and the ice storms and harsh winters of the 1970s with their weather warfare capabilities. They are right about the Bilderbergers, who last year in my own county of Hertfordshire met at the Grove Hotel near Watford on the 6th, 7th , 8th and 9th of July and decided as they have done every year since 1954 what the policy on peace and war was going to be; their approach to Eurasia (Russia and China); the “Arc of Crisis ” in the Middle East; and who is going to get elected in Europe and the USA.

The 1 million residents of Hertfordshire got the policing bill for this “private meeting” and despite representation from Hertfordshire County Council, the Chief Constable of Hertfordshire and the Police Commissioner for Hertfordshire, Prime Minister, David Cameron, who attended on the Friday of that week and George Osborne the Chancellor both insisted that the policing bill of £963,000 gbp($1.6 million USD) be paid by the people of Hertfordshire.

One of the things they ( the Bilderderbergers) decided was to create more “colour revolutions” in countries surrounding Russia and what is now happening is the result of that.

The shooting down of the Malaysian airline and the present sanctions might not have happened without the earlier situation becoming inflamed.

In my view, Mrs Merkel’s wise counsel needs to prevail – she has the political skills, stamina and experience to make a lasting difference.
