I am a baby-boomer and my generation believed in opportunity – the American Dream was alive and well.
Sadly, in recent years inequality in both the US and UK seems to have increased, especially since the financial crisis in 2008. The wealthy and privileged seem to have gone from strength to strength. But ordinary people, working and middle class families, continue to struggle.
Let me ask an open question:
Will history judge that President Obama has failed to help ordinary people, in the working and middle classes?
