I am passionate about people, networking, politics and travel.

If you take a look at my Twitter feeds you will see that they tend to be focused in these four areas, especially politics.

I am relatively new to Twitter but have been very impressed by its potential. Twitter allows me to easily monitor over a hundred news feeds each day, and to editorialize my view of the news across my four theme areas – typically this is completed before 0600 AM each morning and I forward schedule tweets for publication.

Sometimes, a couple of news stories will capture my attention and I might write my editorial and publish it as a weekly blog.

I also publish Dr Alf’s Daily News twice a day which summarizes the latest news from the standpoint of my own interests. 

Apart from keeping me up to date, networking with new people each day, my blogging activities are providing research material for a new book.
