The main thrust of the article is that it is time for moderate Muslims to make their views known. The author compares Muslims to Jews and Christians, concluding that moderate Muslims need to lead a reform agenda.

Whilst I welcome and respect this article, I fear that it is too little, too late. The author is clearly a liberal Muslim living in the West. Thanks to the Muslim Brotherhood and its various spin-offs, the more urgent challenge has mutated to Islamism.
