Too many UK journalists, editors and newspaper owners have strongly biased positions on Brexit. Although evidence and truth were out of fashion before the referendum, it’s now in the UK’s interests to review the evidence carefully.
Personally, I’m biased, having always been a passionate European – so I voted ‘remain’. Now I sense that I’m looking for a soft-Brexit that minimizes the downside risks for the UK.
I worry a little that we’re starting the process from so far back but I suppose we need to blame former PM David Cameron for that.
